Roasted in small batches in the Eastern Townships of Québec, this 100 percent Arabica coffee is roasted extra dark. As a French roast, the oils are brought to the surface of the beans, creating an intense flavor, low acidity, and a powerful aroma. This espresso delivers a smoky, full-bodied cup with notes of roasted almond and blackcurrant, followed by a sweet, lingering finish. Bold and expressive, it shines as a straight espresso and works exceptionally well as a base for lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, and cortados.

These organic Arabica coffee beans are best suited for traditional espresso machines and stovetop espresso makers. Due to the extra-dark French roast and surface oils, Organic Espresso Virgin Hill is not recommended for automatic espresso machines with integrated grinders.
